BA PHILOSOPHY WITH POLITICS

Year 3 students must take: 

• PY3001 (Dissertation – 30 credits)

• A further 60 credits of Philosophy modules (30 credits from autumn term and 30 credits from spring term).

• 30 credits from Politics or IR (PR-coded)

Philosophy students are permitted to take up to 60 credits from the following PR-coded modules which will count as Philosophy credit:

• PR3107 – Freedom of Expression (15 credits – Autumn term)

• PR3105 – Political Theories of Freedom (15 credits – Spring term)

• PR3492 – The Political Economy of Racial Injustice (15 credits – Autumn term)

• PR3540 – Radical Political Theory I: Hegel, Marx, Nietzsche (15 credits – Autumn term)

• PR3541 – Radical Political Theory II: Critical Theory and Poststructuralism (15 credits – Spring term)
